Terms of Service

RugbyRadar is in beta. By using it you accept these terms. They're kept short and plain-language; if anything is unclear, ask us.

The service

RugbyRadar is a rugby team analytics platform. It lets coaches manage rosters and fixtures, lets players record their profile and training, and lets union admins verify teams. Features change as the product develops.

Beta service

The service is provided as-is and may be unavailable, slow, or buggy. We don't guarantee uptime, performance, or that any feature available today will be available tomorrow. Don't rely on it as the sole record of anything important to you — keep your own copy of data you care about.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe.
  • You must give accurate information about yourself when you sign up and during onboarding.
  • One person per account. Don't share an account with someone else. If you need multiple people on the same team, send each of them an invitation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misrepresent who you are or who you coach.
  • Upload abusive, defamatory, or illegal content.
  • Try to break into other accounts or scrape data that isn't yours.
  • Reverse engineer the service or our underlying integrations.
  • Use it to compete commercially with us if you are also a paid customer (we'll ask you to leave).

Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit (profile fields, team names, notes). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it as required to run the service for you and your team.

Third-party integrations

When you connect a third-party service (Strava, Garmin, Whoop, Fitbit, Oura), you consent to us fetching data from that service on your behalf for as long as the connection is active. We're not responsible for the third-party service's uptime, data accuracy, or policy changes. Disconnecting the integration stops the data flow; existing cached data is removed within 30 days.

Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that we suspect are being used abusively. We'll give you reasonable notice unless the situation is urgent.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, RugbyRadar is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is capped at the amount you paid us during that period (currently zero, given the beta is free).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be resolved in the South African courts, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
